Concerts 2014 no. 1

After a long hiatus - for which I cannot say "Game of Thrones" is entirely responsible -  laziness and flakiness were also culprits - I am back, dear reader, with stories of  recent weeks. 
Après une longue pause - qui n'est pas entièrement la faute de "Game of Thrones" - paresse et flemme y ont également contribué - je suis de retour, chers lecteurs, avec des histories de ces dernières semaines.

There were concerts.
Il y a eu des concerts. 

When it rains it pours on the Colline so there are 2 concerts to report... here's the first!
A la Colline, un bonheur n'arrive jamais seul, je vais donc vous parler de 2 concerts...voilà le premier!

 

1. Trio d'en bas / Elysian Fields

The first concert was the serendipitous meeting between the beloved Trio d'en Bas and super famous and amazing Elysian Fields. (Our role was vaguely enabing the two groups to meet and then providing refreshments once they did.)
Le premier concert était la rencontre fortuite entre le bien aimé Trio d'en Bas et le formidable et très connu Elysian Fields. (Notre rôle était de vaguement aider à ce que les groupes se rencontrent et d'offrir l'apéro une fois tout le monde réuni.)

My personal fave is the "Sam do you want to play with us?"  collaboration on Last Night on Earth.

This is a panoramic series presented vertically - it definitely loses some of it's dramatic effect - but we do the best we can.
